All Weather, Inc. has launched AWOS Net, an aviation weather web server to provide fully integrated, remote displays of FAA certified weather data over a vast array of network environments, including the Internet.
All AWOS Net data elements are fully FAA certified, including wind speed and direction, visibility, temperature/dew point, humidity, cloud height, and pressure.
AWOS Net connects directly to LANs, WANs, PSTN dial-up connections, RS-232 devices, printers, and remote monitors. In addition, XML formatted output allows weather data to be integrated into custom displays and reports.
AWOS Net acquires data from All Weather, Inc.’s line of FAA-certified weather systems, including AWOS 900, NEXWOS, and ASOS. Weather information can be viewed 24-7 by pilots from anywhere in the world.
AWOS Net includes server hardware, StormFront software, and a state-of-the-art screen display. Prices start around $2,500.
