West Star Aviation recently joined an elite group, becoming one of only six independently owned Cessna Citation Service Centers in the United States. Located in Grand Junction, Colo., this full-service FBO will provide service for Citation operators in the Rocky Mountain area.
The owners of Premier Air Center, an authorized Cessna Citation Service Center in the St. Louis area, purchased West Star in December 2004 and made an immediate application to Cessna for West Star’s authorization. Under this new authorization, West Star will perform maintenance and repair services, as well as Cessna warranty work, for all 500, 525, 550 and 560 series Citations. Its range of offerings includes airframe modification and maintenance, exterior paint, interior redesign and refurbishment, avionics installation and repair, and fuel services.
