Make flying safer with Mountain High’s FADOC

Make flying safer and more comfortable with the Mountain High Aviation Oxygen MH EDS O2D2 Pulse Demand FADOC oxygen delivery system.

“Our trademarked FADOC is a take off on the FADEC (full authority digital engine control) concept,” explains Robert Jamieson, Mountain High’s marketing director. “Our FADOC is ‘Full Authority Digital Oxygen Control.'”

The unit is a portable, two-place carry-on pulse demand oxygen system for general aviation aircraft. It enables the pilot and passenger to safely fly at pressure altitudes up to 30,000 feet.

The O2D2 system is more efficient than standard constant flow systems because it does not waste oxygen during the breathing cycle when the user exhales and then pauses before inhaling again, he said. The system, which can operate for up to 50 hours powered by three AA alkaline batteries, reduces the workload normally associated with using oxygen because there are no oxygen flow indicators to watch or constant flow valves that must be manually operated due to altitude changes. Instead, two push buttons cycle the O2D2 through the various modes that automatically deliver the required supplemental oxygen pulses for various altitudes for the pilot and passenger.

The system consists of an aluminum oxygen cylinder, a carry case, a primary reducing regulator, a low pressure service line, connection fittings, the MH EDS O2D2 FADOC unit, breathing cannulas, face masks, and a tote bag.
